The best of Namibia in one unforgettable journey.

The Classic Namibia package takes you through five of Namibia's most iconic destinations in a single, perfectly paced 10-day self-drive journey. It's Namibia's essential route — and for good reason. Every destination delivers a dramatically different landscape, giving you a true cross-section of one of the world's most compelling travel destinations.
Starting in Windhoek, you'll drive into the Namib Desert to experience the towering red dunes of Sossusvlei and the haunting white clay pan of Deadvlei. From there, the Atlantic coast calls — Swakopmund's colonial architecture, ocean mist and endless adventure activities await. Heading inland, Damaraland reveals ancient rock art, desert-adapted elephants and dramatic volcanic landscapes. The journey culminates in Etosha National Park, where floodlit waterholes attract elephant, lion, leopard, rhino and giraffe in extraordinary numbers.
Accorto Travel coordinates every booking on this route — accommodation, vehicle, park fees and airport assistance — so you arrive with everything confirmed and a clear day-by-day travel pack.
Airport collection and transfer to your Windhoek accommodation. Evening to explore the city, rest and prepare for the journey ahead.
Drive south-west into the Namib. Pre-sunrise entry to Deadvlei for photography before crowds arrive. Climb Big Daddy dune. Afternoon to Swakopmund via the C14.
Two nights in Swakopmund. Explore the German colonial architecture, Walvis Bay flamingos, quad biking on desert dunes or sandboarding at Swakop Dunes.
Drive north into Damaraland. Twyfelfontein rock engravings (UNESCO World Heritage Site), tracking desert-adapted elephants, Brandberg Mountain. Two nights in the landscape.
Three days in Etosha. Self-drive game drives across the park. Floodlit waterhole viewing at night — elephant, lion, rhino and giraffe. Depart on Day 10.

Long enough to genuinely experience each destination. Short enough to keep driving days manageable. The Classic Namibia route is designed so you never feel rushed.
9 nights accommodation, a 4x4 vehicle rental, Etosha and Namib-Naukluft park fees, airport assistance on arrival and departure, a detailed day-by-day itinerary and Accorto Travel support. International flights, travel insurance, meals and personal expenses are not included.
June to October is peak wildlife season in Etosha — animals concentrate at waterholes and viewing is exceptional. April and May offer green landscapes and comfortable temperatures. November to March is hot in the interior but brings lower rates and fewer crowds. Sossusvlei and Swakopmund are good year-round.
Yes. Damaraland's roads, sections around Etosha and access to Deadvlei require a 4x4. A suitable 4x4 vehicle is included in the package price.
